I decided I'd send her to Egypt to find a man as I wasn't very impressed with the selections in Barnacle Bay. Plus I wanted to mix things up and add an international flair (and, having lived in Egypt, I was homesick lol). Time to call the travel agent!

Ooh, she met a boy! His name is Farid, I forget the last name, and he's decently attractive. Apparently his relative was NOT happy that Lily was flirting with Farid and not with him.

Things are going nicely here! He's fairly attractive, I'm impressed. His nose is a bit big but those big brown eyes make up for it.

She invited Farid to join her at some secluded oasis out in the desert. I think at this point they were officially dating. She moves quickly.

They had a small private ceremony in front of one of the Giza pyramids. Not gonna lie, I'm super jealous of my sims right now :P I would give anything to be able to get married in front of the Giza pyramids, they mean a whole lot to me and are my favourite landmarks in the entire planet.
Enjoying their wedding night lol. Either a rumour was started or they got a bad reputation (I forget which) for "woohooing in public". Oops. But I mean, c'mon, it is their wedding night, what do you expect them to do?
She was exploring a tomb and found a super secret room. She unlocked it to discover the Bathroom! Such an amazing find, she will go down in history for this.
It was time to go back home! She went back to her father's house so she could introduce him to her new husband, before moving on. She approves of the ring Farid got her.
He desperately needed a makeover. Much better now! His traits are Unlucky, Natural Cook, Virtuoso, Hydrophobic, and Mooch and his LTW is to be a One Sim Band. Not that he has a chance at completing it as he'll be our homemaker but his love for music definitely complements Lily's love for music!
Tired of family drama, Lily wanted to get far far away form all of it so she and Farid packed up and moved to the beautiful island of Sunlit Tides. I gave them a nice big house on the beach (with a pool in the back, though you can't see it). You can barely see it here but they brought the kitten with them and bought two pharaoh hounds, Alexandria and Cairo.
First step is to get a job! Since her Lifetime Wish is to be a Rock Star, she joined the music career.

Might as well let him learn the instruments he wants to. I even gave them a nice little music room!
Alexandria loves swimming, if I'd let her this is all she'd do all day every day. Guess it's a good thing they have a swimming pool in their yard! I wish dogs could swim in the ocean though.

This is Cairo, chilling in the backyard. He's got the blue collar (which is how I tell them apart) and his starting out traits are Hyper, Noisy, and Proud. Pretty typical pharaoh (maybe minus the proud part, though they have their moments).
And Alexandria (Alex), who we've already met. The traits I gave her are Playful, Likes Swimming, and Hunter. I created both dogs in CAS, moved them into the Taylor house, and then used the family funds cheat to deduct the starting out money that each created family comes with. I don't like how you can only adopt dogs in sims 3 as sometimes I want my sims to have nice, well conformed purebred animals lol.
Looks like she brought home another souvenir from Egypt! Lots of nice souvenirs - some gold, some artifacts, a husband, and now a baby!

One of them caught a crocodile while in Egypt so I set him up in a nice tank. That's a really tiny croc!
I immediately sent the dogs out to skill up in hunting so that they can help bring in some money.
I was in a hurry to get this generation started so I had Lily go to Egypt and then move as soon as she aged up so I just assumed I had skipped her graduation ceremony. But apparently not as I got the notification that she needed to attend. Nothing like showing up to graduation pregnant (but she is married).
After the graduation ceremony (I can't remember what she got though) Lily and Farid headed down to one of the parks. Poor girl, she played guitar all day and was at a decently high skill level but nobody ever gave her any tips. I guess sims in Sunlit Tide are stingy.
He is such a dork! Farid, stop singing and concentrate on your fishing! You're scaring all the fish away! He sings his Egyptian songs CONSTANTLY and the songs inevitably get stuck in my head.
This guy wasn't impressed with Farid's singing ability. Though I have to say Farid does have a decent voice (thank god!).
Farid went to a different fishing hole and while he was there he found a unicorn! I think this is the first time I've ever seen a unicorn in my game. Sadly the unicorn wanted nothing to do with Farid so he had to admire her from a distance.
The baby bump's growing! Not too much longer now!

Birthday time for Goblin! Now she can go hunting and help earn some money.

It's a girl! I was lazy and didn't send her to the hospital. My game's laggy and the hospital is a ways away and it's just easier to make them have a home birth. Anyways, she had a baby girl named Farrah who's traits are Absent-Minded, and Clumsy.
Her nautical themed room. Lily gave Farrah a stuffed bear that she got in Egypt.

I totally forgot that he was hydrophobic so even though he looks like he's enjoying himself, he really wasn't too happy with me. Oops, sorry dude!
Lily had much more fun though, especially now that she's back to a bikini body after giving birth.

Farid's teaching Lily one of his Egyptian songs. Her voice definitely isn't as nice as his but she's okay. Though please don't tell me this will mean I'll now have TWO sims who sing constantly!
Catching up on some reading. I am DETERMINED to have him learn all of his skills! Though I'm not sure if reading with the lights on while your wife is trying to sleep is such a good idea dude. If she wakes up cranky it's your fault!
All that late night reading requires lots of coffee in the morning.

Birthday time for Farrah!
She's cute! And inherited the blonde, I was kind of hoping to move past the blonde. I did however make sure her mother's purple hair didn't pass down. As fun as that might have been, it doesn't really make sense for dyed hair to be inheritable :P
Poor thing is very over being pregnant. Can't say I blame her!
Sometimes you just need a nice relaxing bath, especially when you're very pregnant.
Maybe she'll inherit her parents' musical abilities!
Oh my god, are you freaking serious? Ugh what the hell! Okay, I'm gonna be totally honest here and admit that I cheated at this point. I was NOT ready to have my homemaker die so soon into the generation, especially since the last homemaker died the exact same way (and this was killing him). So I reset him which kept him from dying. I know, I should be ashamed of myself for breaking the rules like that, I am. But I still have Farid.
