Taylor Gen 2, part 2

Gah, so sorry it’s been so long since I last updated this! My computer suddenly decided it would crash any time I loaded any game at all (and randomly when I would just browse the internet). I was sure that my computer was done for but I took my video card and RAM out and put them in my mom’s old desktop and got the same crash and error message so I made an educated guess and replaced my video card and now I’m back to being able to play sims! I’ve had these pictures sitting on a flash drive for ages but I was too depressed over my computer dying and doing anything sims related just reminded me that I couldn’t actually play sims. So anyways, that’s fixed and while my computer’s still being weird (maybe if I update my video card driver the screen will stop randomly flashing black or flickering), I can play.

Last time Matt became the Taylor family heir, went off to college and got a degree in business and also got a girlfriend. Which means it’s time for a wedding!

Of course there’s gotta be drama to start this chapter off. Michelle, Staci and Matt were all just hanging out in the living room together and I guess Staci made a flirty, inappropriate comment to Matt. I didn’t catch just what happened but suddenly Michelle was fuming and had a betrayed moodlet saying that she witnessed the betrayal of a family member. From then on she absolutely hated both Staci and Matt, though Matt was just sitting there and never once encouraged Staci to make inappropriate comments. I guess we know who Michelle’s favourite child is and it ain’t Matt (it never has been). 

None of this phased Staci in the least. Little home wrecker!

Staci: Don’t worry sweetheart, I’ll never break your heart.

Poor Bradley is totally oblivious.

Time for the baby!

And it’s also Chip’s birthday!

Not too bad! Looks like he’s got some poodle in him.

It’s a boy! I was mean and made her have a home birth instead of going to the hospital. I apparently forgot to write down his name and I can’t remember it. Oops.

Drinking some nectar that someone bought at the consignment store. 

Michelle’s getting good! This would be cute to hang up in a farm house or something. Gonna have to save this for future generations!

Ashley came to visit and Matt asked if she would like to move in with him. Despite the craziness and drama of the Taylor family Ashley agreed. Don’t think she knows what she’s getting herself into!

Now that she’s not in college it was time to lose that cheerleader outfit. I also changed her hair colour as I was really not loving that blonde. She’s really pretty, I’m pleased! She should make nice gen 3 babies. Her traits are Party Animal, Irresistible, Evil, Charismatic, and Athletic, and her LTW is to become a Superstar Athlete. Wow, life with her should be interesting.

D: RIP Michelle.

Oh dear. Yeah she’s gonna be real fun to live with. So much empathy and compassion, that one.

Meet Shadow, who was brought in to be a mate for Callie. He’s a mixed breed cat who is Aggressive and Clueless.

Ooh, she’s got a tattoo! If you can’t tell from the different kitchen, Matt, Ashley, Chip, and the cats moved into their new house. No pictures since they have to earn more money before it looks halfway decent.

Matt got a job in the Criminal career. Townspeople, watch your belongings closely!

I hung up some family pictures in the hallway.

Ashley: Woah there, back off! I’m not in the mood!

Callie’s stalking prey and earning her keep. I swear, most of the money my sims make is from selling critters the cats catch.

She caught something! Apparently the hunting skill is inherited as she aged up and her hunting skill was already maxed (or close to being maxed). 

Ashley headed down to the store to try on wedding dresses. It looks like she’s found one! She’s so pretty, I’m really impressed since usually EA sims are hideous. 

Ashley: *is so excited*

Dear god what is that dude wearing??? 

Don’t even think about it dude, she is already taken!

She makes for a beautiful bride!

Ashley: *girly squeals and giggles* I found my dress!

I gave her a small garden in the backyard. Gotta master that gardening skill!

Ashley: I’m going to steal the diamond and use it to take over the world! Mwuahahahaha!

Bought this generation’s reward object! This thing is ugly as hell but super handy. I had never paid any attention to it, but any time they go anywhere in this all their needs are maxed out. It’s very, very useful!

Wedding time! I made a little wedding area on one of the beaches. Not a bad place to get married, if I do say so myself!

Matt invited all his family and they’re all off far away from the wedding area. 

Ashley: Yesss, marrying into money! Um, I mean, I love you honey.

People did come over to watch the wedding.

*sigh* Well I guess it wouldn’t be one of my weddings if someone wasn’t being hated on.

Matt broke the shower. Such heartbreak :(

They went down to the festival to spend some time together before the baby comes.

Ashley felt a cold chill run up her spine. So much for miss evil not being afraid of anything!

Matt on the other hand wasn’t phased in the least. 

Ashley: I can catch raindrops on my tongue!

For a toy shop it’s quite creepy. Probably because it’s meant to be placed in Midnight Hollows (or whatever that creepy world’s called).

Ashley: STUPID CAT, I HATE YOU!

Woah, calm down there girl, what did Callie ever do to you? I think someone’s pregnancy hormones are getting the better of her. 

Speaking of being pregnant, around this time I realized she had been pregnant for over a week with no progress and most importantly, no baby. It appears her pregnancy is stuck and none of the things I tried un-stuck it. She seems doomed to remain pregnant forever, which sucks since I can’t imagine it’s a pleasant thing to go through. Not to mention that she can’t ever age up while she’s pregnant, or die.

Since Ashley doesn’t seem to be able to give Matt a baby, and since I kind of need kids to carry on this little challenge, they adopted a baby boy. I still want a biological child to be heir but since we need at least three children, they can just adopt and then we’ll see what kind of trouble Matt can get himself into to get a biological child. 

Aww, so cute! She may be evil but she still has a soft side. 

Meet Charlie Taylor, he’s a Loner and a Heavy Sleeper.

One of the toys they got him at the toy store. Apparently when babies are in this some of their needs are maxed (but not all of them I don't think). 

Matt, aren’t you freezing? One option to get biological kids is to have him get abducted by aliens. He’s working hard at that!

Kittens!

She had two kittens, both males. Since they were born on Snowflake Day their names are Claus, the fluffy one on the left and Santa, the skinny one on the right.

Matt decided to throw a Gift Giving party and invite his family. Jake got here first. 

And the rest of the family. Poor Bradley looks like he’s seen better days. 

This is Bradley and Staci’s son, who’s growing up quickly! I still can’t remember his name. 

Apparently Snowflake Day also fell on a full moon, judging by that godawful glare. I hate the full moon glare, I should find a mod to get rid of it. I like the rest of the full moon, just not that stupid weird lighting. Anyways, she got The Modern Orchid. 

And he got an Artsy Easel. Not bad!

Still, seriously?

They had too many cats for me to deal with so I decided to keep Santa and adopt out Claus. 

Ooh, a big space rock! Maybe this will help him get abducted because so far I’ve had no luck whatsoever. 

Matt: OH MY GOD MY BROTHER LOVES ME! He actually invited me to his party!

It was a swimsuit party, despite the fact that the Taylor gen 1 house doesn’t have a pool (and it's winter and snowing outside) >.<

He’s a cute little guy! Hopefully he stays cute as he grows up, you never know with EA sims. 

Playing with his drum, another toy his parents got him at that creepy toy store. He’s so cute!

Well, she’s still pregnant so time to adopt baby #2. 

Here she is! This time they decided they wanted a girl. Keep things even and all (for now anyways).

Her name is Meg and she’s a Couch Potato and she Loves the Outdoors.
