Demetrius Gen 1, part 5

Last time, Michelle aged into an elder and the house is holding its breath to see if she turns into an even grumpier old lady or if old age mellows her out a bit. After a post almost entirely of Michelle going around and grounding her children repeatedly, lets hope she mellows out. I don't know how much further she could take her “nurturing” trait.

Maisy sculpted Brad and Michelle. I want to have photos and sculptures of all the homemakers and breadwinners at the end of the challenge. It would make an awesome legacy room at the end. Sadly Maisy can only sculpt them in ice and she hasn't done enough ice sculptures to make them unmelting yet :/

This is the only boy her age Maisy knows so I invited him over. I can't really see past the hat with this kid but Maisy seems to like him.

Whats wrong Brad II?

Ah. Yeah, every time Peter and Jessie are flirting Brad II always gets the rude guest moodlet. Speak up, man! If you want her you'll have to fight for her.

Jessie thinks she's hot stuff. She does have the brothers vying for her attention, but honestly girl, it's just because there are no other choices. They are desperate...

OH! Maisy's first kiss! The boy's name is LaShawn. I just can't get over that awful hat though...

Michelle is spending all her time at the library now, desperately trying to learn her skills here at the last minute. She has mastered handiness but not gardening or cooking yet.

Birthday time! I had to rush Brad II's birthday a bit because my game got confused and said Peter was going to age up days before Brad II. I guess their ages got mixed up some how. So I couldn't help but get a cake for Brad II.

No. You are not going out in public in that jacket.

Brad II gained the dog lover trait and had the lifetime wish to be a rock star. He has at least the basic music skills so not bad.

Serena Abe was invited to his birthday party. She knows her fate :P And I don't know why but Maisy kept changing into the wrong clothes that day. She was wandering around the house in her swimwear.

Brad II : Mom, you are so old!

I don't know why my sims keep doing this. They always get this shocked expression when they get near old sims >.<

Brad II : So, you like me, right? I mean, whats not to like?

Serena : I guess you're okay...

Good enough for a first kiss it seems!

Brad II : So much better than Jessie.

Serena : Who?

Brad II : Nobody any more. Will you marry me?

Brad II : You know you wanna.

She said yes, but who knows why!

Brad earned the heirloom object of the teleportation pad for this generation.

Maisy, still wandering around the house in her swimsuit...Just random.

Peter took Jessie out for an expensive dinner then they watched the stars together until curfew.

Brad II : Looking for work is hard. Maybe tomorrow.

Aaaand Peter's birthday. Jessie was invited over for a joint birthday because I didn't feel like sitting around and waiting until she became an adult.

Peter had a bug for several hours where he wouldn't open his mouth. He was still speaking and screaming and cheering. But I guess he was practicing his ventriloquism because those lips never moved.

Jessie really does think she's amazing.

Peter gained the light sleeper trait and wants to have a lifestyle of the rich and famous.

Peter : Jessie. I've loved you for a long time. Please, say yes?

Jessie : *SQUEAL*

Jessie : Hold on, hold on. How big would you say this ring is?

Peter wanted a wedding immediately . He was ready to move out of the house and get away from Michelle.

A bit chilly for Jessie in that dress it seems.

Jessie : I'm marrying that guy.

Peter : Don't hurt me.

Maisy : You do realize I hate him.

Is she nauseous already? I don't think they've...

Nope, just a huge burp. Real classy girl you've picked there, Peter.

Ah, weddings.

Brad was watching but from around the corner so he doesn't make it into any photos. 

Brad II wasn't there though...

He was at the park with Serena. She had called and asked him out on a date a few hrs earlier. Probably best that he missed the wedding. He still lists Jessie as a romantic interest.

But it was apparently a group outing because when he kissed her and it turned into a date two sims announced they didn't want to be ditched and were going to hang out and watch the excitement...Um, awkward! Plus I searched the lot and couldn't find them. Where were they??? Just this paparazzi and an elderly gentleman on the bench were there.

Peter and Jessie moved right out. This is Jessie's every day outfit I changed her into. She looks much better after her make over. Good luck you two! (Yeah, Peter isn't the heir in case you hadn't guessed :P )

Brad II had an impromptu little private wedding ceremony at the park.

Welcome to the house, Serena Demetrius!

The next morning...

Serena : The sunlight on my ring. Don't you think it's perfect?

Maisy : Who are you?

Serena : I'm married!

Brad's graduation. He was voted most likely to take over the world, lol.

The open plan upstairs is a bit inconvenient now. Maisy accidentally walked in on this when trying to use the upstairs bathroom.

Maisy's Prom! She asked LaShawn out and he came to pick her up. He is looking better without the hat.

They weren't exactly cosy on the limo ride though.

They started the night with LaShawn asking Maisy to go steady and she said yes! She was voted prom queen then someone tried to steal the crown (something to do with aliens) but she held onto it. They danced the chicken dance twice and she managed to impress LaShawn with her dance moves. LaShawn worked extra hard to impress her and kept her drink full all night. They were possibly the cutest couple at the dance.

Romalee aged into an elder. Doesn't look too much different...

There are so many things wrong with this picture...First Michelle, your expression is terrifying. Second, you are in a skirt! Third, you use a cane to walk around normally, how are you biking?!

Baby Bump alert!

I can't leave them autonomous for a second! Brad II was literally so boring Brad passed out. He wasn't tired or scared. The only negative moodlet he had was for a boring conversation >.<

Brad II : Wow! You're pregnant?

Brad II : Good job.

Does he understand how these things work?

Brad enjoys sitting around the house meditating with his gnomes :D

 Brad has achieved his lifetime wish at this point and mastered both the athletic and martial arts skill.

Brad : I. Cannot. Be defeated!

Randomess thing ever. Serena is standing upstairs, alone and everything falls apart. Serena has a cheater rep all the sudden and Brad II starts storming around the house, jealous as anything.

Brad II : You women are all the same! Who is he? Maybe you would prefer my brother too?!

Serena : Get lost, loser! I can't help it if an ex drunk calls me. Who do you think you are?

Brad II : I may have just made a big mistake.

He has the betrayed moodlet. I don't know how with Jessie he can let her flirt and make out with his brother and nothing, but Serena stands upstairs by herself and he freaks out. I don't know if this relationship is going to work out. Lucky for me he isn't the heir...

Brad : She's having a baby! In my beautiful kitchen! Why?!

At least she let him go with her to the hospital.

And it's Brad III :P He is evil and has the light sleeper trait.

I should also mention that I looked in the family tree and saw that Peter has a child, Dayna, who is easily impressed and grumpy.

They got a laundry gnome :D Cutest gnome ever.

Birthday time!

She became a diva of all things. Her lifetime wish is to be a superstar actress. I decided with this goal in mind she would go back to her natural blonde now. I had gotten use to her dark hair. She doesn't look like Maisy now.

Time for her to graduate. Apparently it was left to her to bring Brad III along. What were his parents doing?

She was class valedictorian with highest honors. She was voted most likely to save the world (possibly from Brad II).

Then after the ceremony, they left him behind! Brad II and Serena are possibly worse parents than Brad and Michelle. I can't believe that's possible.

They had to call a babysitter to bring him home. Of course, being the universe's worse babysitters they just dumped the infant on the doorstep.

Brad II : Is she thinking about him? Does she love him more than me?

Just put down the random bowl, Brad II.

Maisy : Time to leave before the fight breaks out.

Maisy : I'm on my own! YEAH!

She was really excited about moving out :)

Her new house.

Just one story. I'm planning that as they need more space I'll add either a basement or second floor.

So this generation...

2 points for well raised toddlers (Brad II was only potty trained)

8 points for skills maxed by homemaker and breadwinner. (Michelle – handiness and gardening) (Brad – atheltic and martial arts)

For a resounding 15 points for gen 1.

I feel like I can do better O.o Now, I know with this challenge I shouldn't move out my heir (Maisy in case you had realized :D ) until they are married. But it was feeling crowded so I will have her married before she gets a job. I'm sending her off to university to give her a chance to find some one other than LaShawn to marry. After Uni she will decide if she wants someone from university or her highschool boyfriend. You'll have to check out the next blog to see what happens though!
