We left Melissa starting out her life
as the legacy's first homemaker by trying to make some breakfast. It
wasn't going so well and it only got worse.
Melissa burned breakfast three times in
a row. Brad broke the shower. Everything in the bathroom was dirty
and Brad goes and watches TV. A nauseous Melissa is left to clean up
the house and repair things all on her own. She needs the skills! Why
can't Brad clean? Well being a neat freak Melissa rolled wants to
clean everything. Who is Brad to stand in her way?
After the third attempt at waffles they
were both starving so they gave up and ate cereal. Brad suspects
something is up but Melissa avoids eye contact. And these two NEVER
sit by each other. First their wedding and it looks like it'll be an
everyday thing. They are just very space needy I guess.
Melissa begins her foray into
gardening. I'm not wanting her to spend too much time on it so she
just has three bowls and she is growing tomatoes, lettuce, and grapes
for now. At some point I may add some plants but this is purely
because it is part of the homemaker challenge.
Brad leaves for work and Melissa adopts
a cat. This is little Romalee. She is neat and adventurous. Melissa
spent the rest of their cash buying cat stuff. Romalee is so cute!
But Brad wasn't too impressed when he came home.
Melissa : I'd like to write an amazing
book.
Brad : All my money. On a cat.
Melissa eventually was able to make
mac & cheese without burning it here.
First bundle of joy on the way! Melissa
isn't worried. Brad isn't so calm.
And it's a boy! Brad II is a genius and
loves the cold. I have no idea which parent he got his brains from.
Honestly, both of these sims are kinda special in the head.
Melissa's face here kills me. I don't
think childbirth was as easy as she had expected. She's a bit shell
shocked.
Melissa : How many more kids do I have
to have?
Brad rolled the want to go ice skating
with Melissa! Too cute to say no to. They left their newborn with the
worst babysitter in town and went skating.
It was a lot like their wedding dance.
More falling down than anything else :P
Brad left halfway through the day to
get some interviews for his job but Melissa stayed and mastered ice
skating before returning home to the crying terror that is Lil Brad.
Brad aged up into an adult! Where's the
cake? Yeah. I'm terrible about that so don't expect a lot
of birthday parties for my sims. Brad had a midlife crisis and kept
rolling wants to get a new outfit and new look. I guess that is his snob
trait coming through.
Just Melissa building an igloo in the
backyard. I swear, Lil Brad cried his entire infant life. Both
parents spent as much time out of the house as they could, even if it
was just the backyard.
Brad's first makeover. Just changed up
his everyday outfit. He is looking a bit more professional now. He is
a professional blogger at this point after all.
Brad II finally leaves the infant
stage. Can't tell at this point if he has decent looks or not.
It's Snow Day! Big Brad spent some
quality time with Lil Brad in the morning. Cute father son bonding.
Melissa spent the morning napping. She
looks so happy about it to! Poor thing. She never gets to do much
except chores as the homemaker. Oh, and these night clothes? Baby 2
is on the way :P
Brad invited some friends over to
celebrate Snow Day with them. Nik, the photo bomber from the wedding,
showed up. He had the nerve to give Melissa flowers with her husband
standing right there! But Brad doesn't seem to really care...
Melissa is really appreciating the
attention though D: These two sims really seemed destined to cheat on
each other at some point. I can't leave them on autonomous for a
second!
I don't know what to tell you here.
Brad is upset and Nik likes it. Does Nik want Brad to get upset so he
can have Melissa, or is Nik trying to make Brad jealous? I just can't
interpret that smirk :/
And, sadly, Brad isn't even upset about
the flirting going on behind him. Someone just brought some spicy
chili >.<
And the present opening begins!
Everyone gather around...
Except Brad, who sits on the other side
of the stairs...
Melissa got a bike! She's a bit grouchy
about getting a bike. Was that from Nik? We're watching you Nik!
Brad got...toilet paper. Yeah I'd be
upset too.
Melissa
wasn't impressed with her second gift which was a lamp. What's wrong with getting a lamp? Brad's second gift was a low
end wall decor but he was super excited about it after getting toilet
paper in his first present. The guests left with out any more flirting. Anymore interaction at all actually. They just took their presents and left.
Romalee, chillin out and napping :)
And time for another trip to the
hospital!
To sum it up : It's a boy, Peter, who
is virtuoso and friendly.
I think they gave Melissa better drugs
this time.
Brad : Another crying infant. Why?
He-he, Brad taking his first turn potty
training Lil Brad.
And make over two. Brad wanted to grow
facial hair. LOL. I decided to give him a new hairdo while I was at it.
Aaaanndd Romalee is growing up!
Ta-da!
Romalee still sleeps strangely as an
adult :P
She can finally learn the hunting
skill! She's a bit worried about birds though. She may be more of an
indoor cat :)
What's wrong Melissa?
Ah, baby bump #3.
Peter had his birthday and the brothers
are toddlers together. I couldn't get a good close up shot to really
compare them well. I'll try again when they are older. Peter has the
short hair, on the right.
Final trip to the hospital for Melissa!
She is looking optimistic.
Brad decided to take Peter along. Lil
Brad was left with Barnacle Bay's questionable babysitter again. Why
bring Peter if you were hiring a babysitter anyway? I think some one
has a favorite.
It's a girl! Maisy is clumsy and loves
the heat. Kinda the opposite of Lil Brad which should be interesting.
Brad : That was...unpleasant.
Peter : Why did I need to see that?
Neither parents is happy with another
crying baby in the house.
Brad : Why? What were we thinking?
Melissa : I can't do this. I can't deal
with an infant again.
Will they survive the third infant?
Will the kids survive these unenthusiastic parents? Isn't Melissa
suppose to be nurturing?! Hopefully that will come a bit more into
play as the kids grow up.
