Demetrius - Gen 1, part 4

Last time Maisy grew into a child and Michelle was very relieved to no longer take care of screaming toddlers. Hurray for some self sufficiency! Maybe now Michelle can focus on those skills of hers.

The Brads are out on the road. Brad II is learning to drive. Brad seems surprisingly calm about it all.

After driving lessons some friendly sparring in the backyard. Peter is just painting away. He is suppose to be athletic but all her ever wants to do is paint.

Maisy mastered the child's level of cooking. The boys learned on it as well, but Maisy makes for cuter photos :P

Brad : Are you ready Michelle?

Michelle : Don't stay up to late young lady.

Maisy : Who is that?

Brad and Michelle went on a date night since Michelle can now leave the house without hiring a babysitter. They went to the fancy expensive restaurant and everything. First thing Brad does is check out this old dude...Some things never change.

Michelle : what am I doing with my life?

Brad : I am so cool.

Maisy and Romalee being cute.

Maisy : I love beetles! Bring us more beetles.

Peter : Mom, look at me! I'm a space cowboy!

Brad II learned how to drive. He went in to give his dad a hug to thank him for all the time it took.

It was awkward.

First thing he did is Brad II drove himself to a club and did some DJing.

He really thought he was cool...

He did eventually gather a crowd. And made creepy faces at his listeners.

While Brad II was out grooving, it was Peter's birthday.

Not too bad, Peter. He became a supernatural fan and joined the music and sports club, same as Brad II.

His parents got him a drum set for his birthday. He seems to like them.

PROM

I made sure their formal wear was appropriate for a prom. Changed them into their formal wear. Then they stepped outside...So this is what Brad II wore to prom -_-

And what Peter wore. I don't know which one is worse.

Michelle took Maisy to the fall festival while the boys were at prom. First thing Maisy did was get her face painted. The random sim won the apple bobbing contest though.

She liked the haunted house. Even covered in pirate face paint she's adorable.

Peter's prom was pretty uneventful. He fell on his face; saw someone wearing the same tux (how and why?); spent a lot of time staring at lights and thinking about aliens, and got in fight because he was checking out someone else's date.

Brad II on the other hand was crowned prom king. He was rejected for a dance from his crush three times. After the third time he danced alone for the rest of the night. Then to wrap it up he got in a fight because someone looked at him funny. He had a rough night and decided to prank the school after prom.

He was caught.

Michelle had a tirad ready for him when he got home. He was promptly grounded.

After which Brad yelled at him and grounded him again.

Brad II : I get it dad. Can I just use the toilet?

Brad II woke up feeling rebellious the next day and decided to get a new hairstyle. He snuck out of the house and went to the salon to have a professional do it.

Then he went to the neighbor's and egged their house.

His absence was noted.

Brad : What is that ridiculous hair cut?! Your grounded!

Brad II : I already was...

Maisy : Look what I can do daddy. Look at me.

Brad just walked away so Maisy showed off her ballet moves to Peter.

Michelle : There, there. I'm sure your dad didn't mean it. Your hair is just...different.

Brad II : You like it?

Michelle : Are you kidding?! You are so grounded, mister.

They seriously just kept grounding him over and over again. Brad II could literally do nothing right.

Lots of learning going on in the soggy kitchen floor this morning :P

I don't think I've actually had a child work out with the television before. I thought the only way an overweight child could get skinny was swimming. Learned something new! And Maisy is being adorable :P

Brad is off for his last day of work as a weatherman. How can he show his face on tv in that suit?

Brad : After today I won't have an excuse to leave. I'll be trapped with...them.

Brad II was grounded again...for eating breakfast it seems.

Michelle : Just chew with your mouth shut. Is it so hard to grasp?!

Maisy doing her homework like a dino. She's adorable whatever she does :D

I invited all of the teens and children the household knew to Brad's b-day party. They only knew these three.

Peter : Hey, your Jessie.

Jessie : Hey, your Peter.

They hit it off immediately. Jessie looks like she has a good face, but needs new eyebrows, and hair, and clothes...

Brad II gossiped with this girl. They seems to like each other, but not the sparks that Peter and Jesse had. It was too crowded for Maisy to talk to the little boy.

Brad : Will aging rob me of my good looks?

Brad : I wish...I had fewer kids.

Brad II : Dad...

At least the guests are excited about the party...

Brad : No, I'm not ready!

Brad II : Ha!

Not too bad.

Michelle : Why are you so old?!

Brad : No need to be rude.

Michelle : That's disgusting. I'm never growing old.

Brad II : Dad? Why are you so old?!

Did no one pay attention when he blew out the candles?

Brad : If one more person makes an age comment...

Nina : Are you okay?

He retired the next morning. He reached lvl 7 in the journalism career, ending as a weatherman. He was a four star celebrity. Which is pretty good for a weatherman.

Brad had a little party for himself. Peter supported him...with a chant about yeties?

Brad II got out a sign too and they both cheered on their dad's retirement with pro-yeti protest signs. What is up with that? Plus they are all staring at the wall like idiots as usual. Special sims!

Brad II and Peter : YETIES!!!

Maisy : Immature children. Yeties are so last year.

Maisy : It's all about the dinos!

She decided it'd be a good idea to destroy her dollhouse.

Michelle : Stop that racket! Look what you did! Do you know how hard your dad, and cat, have had to work to afford that doll house for you? You inconsiderate, noisy child!

Maisy : Will it help if I do some chores?

With Michelle mad at Maisy Brad decided to see if she was more forgiving toward him now.

Brad II : Please mom? Please will you allow me to go to school?

Michelle likes having the power.

Michelle : I can't remember why you are grounded so I guess this time.

Brad II : Awesome!

He then basically high fived himself. It was awkward. Everything this kid does is awkward.

Brad was invited to a costume party. This is what he decided to wear...

The rest of the family came too. They chose an interesting variety of costumes.

Maisy and Michelle : Is he OLD under that hot dog?!

I thought their costumes were cute so they got a greeting card photo together. Crazy sims.

Michelle : Everywhere I step, kids! You are grounded!

Peter didn't take a grounding without a fight.

Brad spends his time meditating. Working on his lifetime wish (mastering athletic and martial arts) and ignoring the chaos in his house.

Brad : Don't worry Maisy. Your mom has the nurturing trait. She isn't really mad at you.

Even more chaos on the way!

Maisy isn't looking so sweet and innocent now. She gained the flirty trait and joined the sports and shop clubs.

Peter : What are you wearing?

Maisy : I could ask you the same thing.

Maisy : You aren't my mother! I can wear what I want!

Peter : Sorry, sorry. (backs away slowly)

Peter's turn to learn to drive. He learned all in one session!

Maisy's corner got an update. Yeah, she knows she rules this house :P And no, no body has bothered to clean up the broken doll house >.<

The boys got some better beds in their corner of the room.

Maisy got a sculpting table for her birthday and this is the first thing she sculpted. Not bad at all!

Maisy is getting her turn behind the wheel. It is so disconcerting how alike she and Peter look with the short hair cuts.

They are not friends though. Peter walked to the other side of the living room rather than sit at the same counter with Maisy.

Maisy was feeling rebellious and decided to dye her hair. This didn't go so well for Brad II...Lucky for her no one dared to say anything.

Michelle : You throw like a girl!

Peter : Thanks mom. Real nurturing of you.

Brad : Now that I'm old I can win fights! Wanna try me son?

Brad II : Sure dad...

Brad : Lightning punch!

Brad II : What the heck? It works!

Brad won the fight after all. I don't think he is ready for the big leagues, but maybe a trip to china in his future?

Maisy snuck out to the club and practiced her pool tricks.

When she got home, Michelle promptly grounded her.

Maisy : Yay! I'm a rebellious teen! Do you hate my hair too?

Michelle forgave her immediately. >.<

Brad II invited Jessie over because the girl he had flirted with before is already a young adult.

Brad II : I have a...confession.

Jessie : You can trust me.

Brad II : The loooooove of Xio Ping!

(Jessie swoons)

While they were hitting it off Peter and Maisy got in a fight upstairs.

Maisy : Mooooom!

Michelle : What do you think you are doing? Nobody starts fights in my house!

She put him in time out. I couldn't stop laughing. Who would put a teenager in time out except Michelle?

Brad II took the opportunity to surprise Jessie with a first kiss. Aww, how cute.

He then made the mistake of trying to give her a gift. She claimed they didn't know each other well enough...uh, you'll kiss him though?

Peter decided it was time to make his move then.

What exactly are you looking at there Peter? And they got a new gnome!

Jessie : So romantic.

Peter : Yeah, I guess I am.

Brad II came outside and watched them flirt and hold hands but didn't do anything about it. The only thing that happened was he got a negative moodlet for a rude guest :P I think your crush hitting on your brother is more than a rude guest!

LOL, daredevils. Maisy was out in the front yard during a full moon. This was her response to zombie attacks.

I think Michelle is exactly like her creator, ownedbyagsd. A kid breathes and she freaks out. But cats can play in the toilet and she doesn't bat an eye :P

Another Snowflake day party at the Demetrius house!

Maisy got a globe sculpture.

Michelle got a rolling leaf floor lamp.

Brad got a lodge lamp, the same as last year. Brad II got THREE chess sets. Peter didn't get a present O.o I think Brad may be the favorite child...

Then one of the guests died. Everyone was mourning except Brad II who was staring at the presents waiting to open another gift. Was three not enough? There is tragedy going on beside you!

Maisy is getting decent at sculpting. I don't think I'd trust her with a chainsaw though O.O

Michelle : Yes! I'm getting old!

Really? After all the grief you gave Brad?

I decided to give her glasses as an elderly lady. Dunno why.

That's it for this post! Next time the kids will grow up and move out and someone will be heir! I'll leave you guessing who it will be. I'm not going to do votes for the heirs. We decided with two people blogging the polls would get a bit messy so we are choosing the heirs. Maybe we will do some voting later, maybe not.
